A garlic brought to Washington State’s Columbia River Basin in the early 1900s by the Lorz family when they emigrated from Italy. This flavorful softneck garlic is considered a superb heirloom garlic, it is a robust, bold and spicy garlic which has more heat and better flavor than other Artichoke varieties.
